Scarce pattern and style with beautiful lion finial and lion head handles
The pattern features a country scene with a pair of stags and blooms all over its lid. Decoration continues inside the tureen with a zoom-in feature of the stags
Condition notes: This fab find has several old rim chips on both bowl and lid. A hairline crack next to one lion head handle (see photo #4) and tight glaze hairline in bowl. Overall as is antique condition; will display beautifully regardless
