- Beautiful antique gold gilded Meissen hand painted Blue Onion plate. This iconic pattern has been popular since first made in 1739 by Meissen. This one was further accented with gold gilded paint.
- Two are available at time of listing-one with slight lighter blue glaze whereas another slight darker blue glaze.
- Underside of plate bears Meissen’s cross swords mark with pommels (see last two photos).
- Both plates are in good antique condition with expected loss of gild at parts. The lighter blue plate has a tight hairline with old well done repair and darker blue plate has tiny rim chips (see photos and reflected in price)
- Each measures approximately 7.5” W x 1” D
